Season 3 is set in Bergville, while the previous season set in the township of KwaZulu-Natal. The series stars actors like Siyabonga Thwala and Gcina Nkosi.
Storyline
eHostela season 3 follows a widow, KaMabizela, who seeks revenge and takes on a ruthless gangster. Ngwadi made her a widow after betraying and killing her husband Mdletshe, whom she loved dearly.
Mdletshe, a respected man in the KwaDukuza hostel, runs an underground criminal cartel with his friend Ngwadi.
After a fallout over Mdletshe’s plan to stop every criminal working at the hostel, Ngwadi tries every possible way to remain in power. The widow, KaMabizela, was too eager to get justice making her and her family a target.
Season 3 of the drama series stars Xoli Zondi, Nkanyiso Mchunu, and Mduduzi Nombela.

Siyabonga Thwala as Ngwadi
Siyabonga Thwala is a prominent actor best known for playing Vusi Zwane in the e.tv soap opera Scandal! He played the starring role of Paul Mashaba, Kenneth’s brother, on the SABC1 soap opera Generations.
The actor was born and grew up in Umlazi Township in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Nkanyiso Mchunu as S’motoza
Nkanyiso Mchunu is a well-known actor. He gained prominence for playing the recurring role in the SABC1 drama series Ingozi.
The actor has appeared in other television series like Sizwe on the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango. He also played the guest starring role of a policeman on season four of the SABC2 sitcom Skwizas.
Xoli Zondi as Maggy
Xoli Zondi is a prominent actress and starred as Winnie in the SABC1 sitcom Family Bonds. She was a cast member of the SABC1 soap opera Generations.
Another starring role she played was in the SABC1 sitcom Single Galz. Her character is Ntsiki, a young girl in her 20s who is yet to find true love.
