Popular Pop singer-songwriter Jesse Clegg has confirmed the sad news of his wife’s demise.
The pop musician posted on Instagram revealing to family, friends, fans, and well-wishers that his wife Dani Cooperman had lost her battle with cancer.
“It is with profound sadness that I share the news of the passing of my beautiful Dani. She was diagnosed with cancer last year, and fought with incredible courage and grace until the end,”
“Her soul has moved on to its next great adventure and she is now at peace. She will be dearly missed by her family and the many lives that she touched.”
The musician addressed his late wife as the love of his life and praised her for being an incredible daughter to their daughter, Mylah.
“Her beautiful spirit lives on in her. Go well my love, I’ll see you on the other side.”
The couple has been together for over a decade, but the exact year they got married is unknown.
On March 2, 2021, the couple welcomed their daughter Mylah Thandolwethu Clegg. In 2019, the musician lost his father, Johnny Clegg, a veteran musician and dancer, to cancer.
After the birth of Mylah, Jesse paid tribute to his late father by referencing a song that his father had written for him when he was little. The song, Cruel, Crazy, Beautiful World, was dropped in 1990.
